Biological Modeling & Control

Biological modeling and control involves the development and
application of mathematical models, computational methods and simulations
to describe complex biological phenomena with the goals of understanding
the dynamics of biological systems and harnessing the capability of designing
and controlling them. Current interests within BEST include protein structure
and folding simulation, cardiac muscle modeling, transport processes in
biological systems, molecular motors, liquid crystals and colloids, synthetic
biology.
